Harvey House conducting annual membership drive to help building, caboose

The Slaton Harvey House needs the public’s support during its annual membership drive.

Memberships are $40 for the year.

The membership donation helps preserve and maintain one of Slaton’s oldest historical buildings, as well as the newly restored 1910 wooden caboose, which is on display outside.

The Slaton Harvey House is a designated Texas Historical site.

Those interested in becoming a member can stop by the Harvey House during business hours of 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday-Friday to make a payment.

Donations are always accepted to help the Harvey House. Memorial bricks and plaques are also available for purchase.
