Slaton sees increase in February sales tax rebates

increase in its February sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $78,889.16 in February, a 7.16 percent increase from February 2020’s total of $73,612.50.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $126,875.93, a 12.72 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $112,551.67.

Ransom Canyon saw an increase, while Post, Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw a  decrease.
