Slaton sees increase, others drop in March rebates

The City of Slaton saw a an increase in its February sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $44,885.72 in February, a 1.55 percent increase from February 2020’s total of $44,196.96.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $171,761.65, a 9.57 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $156,748.63.

Ransom Canyon Post, Buffalo Springs and Wilson all saw a  decrease for the month of March.
