Ride for Respect to stop at Slaton, raise awareness

The Legal Aid Society of Lubbock will be hosting its first ever “Ride for Respect” Bike Run April 17.

The event will start at the Twisted Cycles, 2401 S. Loop 289  in Lubbock.

The event will begin with registration at 9 a.m. at The Twisted Cycle, and kickstands will go up at 10 for the ride.

They will drive to Post, stopping at the park in town, then back to Slaton.

They will stop at the square in Slaton before returning back to Twisted Cycle.

The group will be playing a game as well with the highest hand winning a prize.

Those interested can register before or the day of the event.

The ride is being presented to stand against Domestic Violence.
