Slaton Little League brings cheer to players, parents after 2020 miss

Cheers, and laughter, came from the stands this past weekend as youth of all ages played games from T-Ball to baseball to softball.
All part of the Slaton Little League season, which is currently underway with teams playing against other town’s teams.
There are 25 teams in Slaton this season, with approximately 300 kids participating.
Last year, Little League canceled their World Series due to COVID, the first time since the league was created.
Many states did not conduct Little League activities out of caution. Those who did could compete up to Regional.
