Slaton, cities see increase in April sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a an increase in its April sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $41,890.49 in April, an 8.23 percent increase from April 2020’s total of $38,702.79.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $213,652.14, a 9.31 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $195,451.42.

Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and Wilson all saw an increase, while Post saw a  decrease for the month of April.
