Track boys advances 3 events to State meet; girls finish season

In a spring season COVID comeback dominated with two powerlifters advancing to State, the Slaton High School Tiger teams are sending more qualifiers to the top level.

Track qualifiers competed in the Regional meet Friday and Saturday (April 23 and 24) in Abilene.

The boys team had three events receive a  berth into the finals.

The girls team had a strong showing, but did not advance in any event.
