Sedco listens to speaker in light session

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation heard from Matty McLain with Leading EDG Tuesday afternoon (June 22) during its monthly meeting.

McLain spoke about his business, which works to help businesses get started and facilitate to help businesses improve and attract more customers.

He added there was no obligation, and if they tried it but it didn’t work, they could cancel anytime.

Director Barbara Hopper said the program would be no charge to the businesses, as the EDC would pay for it. This was a discussion only item.
