Trustees approve new principals, purchases

The Slaton Independent School District Board of Trustees approved two new principals during a special meeting Tuesday (June 22) at the SISD administration building.
Mario Aguirre, who has been HS band director, will now lead SHS as principal.
Marcus Arguello, who has been teaching English at the Junior High, will now be the Junior High Assistant Principal.
A meet and greet reception for Aguirre was conducted Wednesday morning (June 23) at the High School library.
