Slaton, cities see decrease in June sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a an decrease in its June sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $48,592.98 in May, an 8.41 percent decrease from June 2020’s total of $53,056.04.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $346,973.85, a 9.42 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $317,078.91, still up from last year.

Ransom Canyon and Wilson also saw decreases this month. Buffalo Springs and Post saw increases.
