Harvey House to host pancake breakfast Saturday

The Slaton Harvey House will be conducting a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast Saturday (July 24) from 8:30-11:30 a.m. at the building, 400 Railroad Ave.

The meal will feature pancakes and sausage. Donations are accepted for the meal.

It is dine-in, with take-out and curbside available.

In addition, the newly renovated caboose will be open for guests to tour.

Lynn Melton, Director at the Harvey House, said the donations are important to help with upkeep on the Historical building.

“(They’ll) be used for upkeep and maintenance on the building such as window repair and resealing, new exterior doors and repairing the roof on  the caboose,” she said.
