Homecoming Parade, Carnival signup open, events to be conducted Wednesday

Slaton High School is inviting the community to join its annual Homecoming parade and carnival, which will be conducted Wednesday, Sept. 15.

Parade line-up will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 6:30. It will start at the High School, cross 20th St. and head east down Garza St., turn left on 13th after the park, then end at Bible Baptist Church.

The carnival begins at 7 p.m. and the community wide pep rally will begin at 8 p.m. Fireworks will start after sunset, weather and drought permitting.
