SHS celebrates Homecoming, big win

Bright lights, fireworks and festive parades highlighted Slaton High School’s Homecoming Week last week (Sept. 13-17).

It culminated in a 40-0 win over the Odessa Compass Eagles.

Christana Anzley was named the homecoming queen while Diego Maldonado received the king title for this year.

A parade and carnival were also conducted.
