Slaton see increase in September sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebates in September compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $52,247.29 in September, a 2.31 percent increase from September 2020’s total of $51,064.21.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $531,480.92, a 6.36 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $499,679.83.

Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post all saw increases in September.
