Slaton sees large gains in October sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebates again in October compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $57,339.05 in October, a 13.65 percent increase from October 2020’s total of $50,450.98.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $588,819.97, a 7.03 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $550,130.81.

Every city – Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post, saw increases.
