4 Slaton groups part of Giving Tuesday WTX

Four groups in Slaton are participating in Giving Tuesday WTX (West Texas) and need locals’ help in order to help the City.

The groups are Santa Red & Blue, Meals on Wheels, Mercy Center and the Slaton Area Endowment.

Donations are now open on Giving Tuesday WTX’s web site, givingtuesdaywtx.org.

Those interested can log on and find the links for all four groups. All donations made via the website will be given to the charity. Credit cards are also accepted online and for several groups checks are accepted at their location.

As of press time Tuesday (Nov. 23), Santa Red & Blue has received zero donations out of a $2,000 goal, Meals on Wheels $203.18 of $2,500, Mercy Center zero out of a goal of $25,000 and SAE $130 raised out of a goal of $5,000.
