Cities finish year in green for December sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebates again in December compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $52,952.02 in December, a 9.33 percent increase from December 2020’s total of $48,431.42.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $719,027.34, a 6.88 percent increase from the 2020 year-to-date total of $672,734.99.

Every city – Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post, again saw increases.
