School lunch menus return to The Slatonite this week

The school lunch menus will be returning to The Slatonite, starting with this week’s edition (Jan. 6).

The menus were pulled back in March of 2020, when schools closed down for the remainder of the school year.

They were not brought back during the  2020-21 school year due to questions if the school year would remain in-person learning.

All four school Districts covered by the paper – Slaton, Wilson, Southland and Roosevelt, will have their menus featured for the remainder of the year.

Items shown in the weekly menu are as of press time the edition runs.

Due to supply chain issues, menus may change any given day.
