1 arrested in aggravated assault, investigation ongoing

The Slaton Police Department arrested one for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Thursday evening (Feb. 24) at in the 900 block of Hwy. 84.

The woman, 32, stabbed her husband in the arm.

The husband refused medical treatment on the scene.

The woman was arrested and taken to Lubbock County Jail.

Chief of Police Trevor Barnes they are working in collaboration with the federal parties on the case, and other charges may be filed.
