Kelley honored with DAR Good Citizens Award

AnnMarie Kelley, a senior at Slaton High School, received the 2022 Good Citizens Award from the Nancy Anderson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently.

The group sponsors the DAR Good Citizen program in the Slaton area.

The program encourages and rewards the qualities of good citizenship. It honors an outstanding student in the senior class who demonstrates the qualities of a good citizen – dependability, service, leadership and patriotism, as well as provides an opportunity for him or her to participate in the scholarship portion of the program.
