City hires new Administrator, hears several presentations

Slaton has a new City Administrator.

The City of Slaton Commissioners unanimously approved Wade Willson for the position as well as accepting the terms of his contract Monday evening (April 11) during its regular monthly meeting.

The board briefly went into executive session to discuss the contract, before reconvening to approve.

The new Administrator will start work in the next few weeks.

The board also heard a couple of presentations from City residents wanting help to get their projects going.
