SHS Seniors attend baccalaureate service

Slaton High School Seniors attended the annual Baccalaureate Friday (May 20) at St. Joseph Church in Slaton.

A welcome was presented by Deacon Pete Paniagua Messages were presented by Deacon Adam Behnke, Cooper Downer of Bible Baptist and Deacon Eric Hybner.

A prayer and closing song were also presented.

A reception followed the event provided by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

The event was one of several the Slaton High School seniors participated in before graduation today (May 26).

The Seniors also had a parade and other activities to celebrate their accomplishments.
