SHS, WHS, RHS top 2 named, graduations set

Slaton, Roosevelt and Wilson Independent School Districts have announced their valedictorians and salutatorians for the Classes of 2022.

Slaton High School’s Valedictorian is Madi-Lynne Englund.

The Salutatorian is Zadie Rios.

Slaton conducted its annual senior parade Wednesday (May 25). The parade started in 2020 due to COVID protocols and has continued since.

Slaton’s commencements will be Thursday (May 26) at 7 p.m. in the High School Gym.

Roosevelt High School’s Valedictorian is Alexander Trevino.

The Salutatorian is Viviana Duran.

Roosevelt will conduct its graduation May 27 at 7 p.m. in the Arena.

Wilson High School’s Valedictorian is Leslie Pantoja.

The Salutatorian is Kristen Coronado.

Wilson High School will have its graduation May 28 at 10 a.m. at the school.

Southland conducted their graduation Friday (May 20) at the school.
