Slaton sees increase in May sales tax rebates
The City of Slaton again saw an increase in its sales tax rebates again in May compared to the previous year’s totals.
Slaton received $88,172.87 in May, a 4.06 percent increase from May 2021’s total of $84,728.73.
Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $328,771.05 a 10.18 percent increase from the 2021 year-to-date total of $298,380.87.
Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post saw increases.
Ransom Canyon saw a decrease over the past year.
