Tigerette Camp of Champions June 27-29

Slaton ISD will host its Tigerette Camp of Champions June 27-29 at Slaton High School.

The camp will be from 9 a.m.-noon for those entering second through fifth grades and 1-4 p.m. for incoming sixth through ninth graders.

Campers will be taught in the basic basketball fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, passing and ball handling. They will also participate in competition drills and team concept.

Cost for the camp is $50 per child, which will also include a camp T-shirt, certificate and basketball. Any camper who signs up after June 17 will not be guaranteed the shirt and basketball.
