Couple to serve as missionaries in Mexico

Sam and Irene Rodriguez will start serving as Missionaries in Mexico City starting in July for two years.

They are excited about their next adventure, as over the last 30 years of their ministry they have ministered in many areas of their life as pastors, evangelists, children’s pastor, leading trainings in churches in the USA and in several other countries.

They have been residents here in Slaton for the past 15 years and have two children, Samuel Isaac, who is a missionary in Brazil and Vanessa is a teacher in Arlington.

Sam and Irene have had this dream in their hearts of moving and working in the mission field for more than 30 years.

In Mexico City, they will work with orphan and orphanages connecting local churches to the orphans.  They will also be helping churches train up leadership in children’s ministry.

Pursue Missions is their  local covering and  missions organization from Church on the Rock in Lubbock.
