Slaton sees increase in June sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton again saw an increase in its sales tax rebates again in June compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $51,973.85 in June, a 6.95 percent increase from June 2021’s total of $48,592.98.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $380,744.90 a 9.73 percent increase from the 2021 year-to-date total of $346,973.85.

All cities – Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post, saw increases over the past year.
