Slaton Ironman flag football signups to be conducted through Aug. 1

Slaton Ironman flag signups are being conducted online until July 30.

There will be two Divisions this year – Six and Under Division for children ages five and six years old then an Eight and Under Division for children ages seven and eight.

The age cutoff is Aug. 1. If the child was five or six years old on Aug. 1, they can play for the Six and Under Division.  Children who are seven or eight years old on Aug. 1, they can play in the Eight and Under Division.

Cost is $75, which includes a jersey, shorts, hoodie, flags and mouthpiece. Parents will need to provide socks and cleats.

Practices will start in August, with games  starting the second weekend in September.

There will be multiple teams from Slaton and children will be placed on teams based on skill level. Most games will be in Slaton; however, they could travel to Post, Seagraves, Hale Center or Lamesa.
