Slaton sees decrease in July sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw a decrease in its sales tax rebates again in July compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $52,559.66 in July, a 5.11 percent decrease from July 2021’s total of $55,395.19.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $433,304.56 a 7.68 percent increase from the 2021 year-to-date total of $402,369.04.

Ransom Canyon, Wilson and Post, saw increases over the past year.

Buffalo Springs saw a decrease.
