Tiger Field’s parking was full of traffic Friday morning (Aug. 19), not for a game, but to let the South Plains Auto Task Force etch their car’s Vehicle Identification Number etched into the window.
Jennifer Anderson, Crime Analyst Administrative Assistant and Crime Prevention Coordinator with SPATF said a total of 22 cars had their VIN etched into the windows.
She added the event was well received. “The community seemed surprised we offer this service and seemed very grateful to have us come out,” she said.
