Tigers meet little ones, attend block party

The Slaton Tiger football team, cheerleaders and others have been busy this past week preparing for their first game of the season.

The team participated in a Scrimmage Thursday (Aug. 18) in Seagraves. (See story in Thursday’s edition of The Slatonite)

They then got to meet their Little Tigers Friday evening (Aug. 19) during a meet and greet at Tiger Stadium. A block party on Garza Street followed on Sunday (Aug. 21).

The Tigers will play Snyder Friday (Aug. 26) at 7 p.m. Snyder. A story on the game will be in Sept. 1 edition.
