Slaton conducts carnival, parade, fireworks for game

The Slaton Tigers had a busy Homecoming last week.
Wednesday evening (Sept. 21), the Tigers, Slaton schools and others traversed Garza St. as part of the annual Homecoming parade. A Carnival was then conducted at Tiger Stadium.
At the Carnival, Brayden Brown was crowned the Homecoming King.
Kat Castillo, daughter of Greg and Rebecca Castillo, was crowned at halftime at the game Friday evening (Sept. 23).
