Slaton sees rise in September tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebates again in September compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $60,777.67 in September, a 16.32 percent increase from September 2021’s total of $52,247.29.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $576,060.24 an 8.38 percent increase from the 2021 year-to-date total of $531,480.92.

Buffalo Springs, Wilson and Post, saw increases over the past year.

Ransom Canyon saw a decrease.
