Early voting continues through Friday

Early voting is underway in Lubbock County and the State of Texas.

As of press time Tuesday (Nov. 1), a total of 40,431 people have voted in the County.

Early voting will continue through Friday (Nov. 4) at the Slaton Community Clubhouse, 750 W. Garza St. Times are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

The general election will be conducted Tuesday, Nov. 8 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

There are no local elections for either City or School office being conducted in Slaton; however, 23 amendments to the City Charter are on the ballot. A list can be found in the Oct. 13 and 20 editions of The Slatonite or City Hall.
