From Staff Reports
Slaton residents voted to approve 23 amendments to its City Charter Tuesday evening in unofficial results during Election Night (Nov. 8).
The amendments were part of a move by the City to update the Charter to be in compliance with the State. It had not been updated since the 1960s.
Neither the City nor Slaton ISD had offices up for election.

It was not the only local election affecting Slaton.
