In Between Gallery offers artists spot to show work

Art may come in many forms, but it is gathered together at In Between Gallery at 160 S. 8th St. in Slaton.
Paintings, jewelry, prints and other items are all for sale.
There is even old equipment and circuit boards from computers, radios and other equipment people can purchase and re-purpose into found art or retro items.
Some of the furniture, such as chairs, is also for sale.
Skip Crawford, who owns the building, said he wanted to bring the interior back as a gallery for people to rent space.
Rent however is not the kind most would expect however.
“I’m renting space – a piece of floor or a piece of wall or whatever, and if their item sells there’s a 25 percent commission and that’s their rent,” he said.
“If it doesn’t sell, they don’t owe me anything.”
