Slaton sees rise in new year of sales tax rebates
The City of Slaton saw an increase in its sales tax rebates in January to start off the 2023 year compared to the previous year’s totals.
Slaton received $56,357.35 in January, a 1.18 percent increase from January 2022’s total of $55,697.21.
Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $56,357.35 in January, a 1.18 percent increase from January 2022’s total of $55,697.21.
Ransom Canyon, Wilson and Post saw increases over the past year.
Buffalo Springs saw a decrease to start its year.
