Slaton sees increase in February sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in its February sales tax rebate compared to the previous year’s totals.

Slaton received $84,578.50 in February, a 4.76 percent increase from February 2022’s $80,732.61. Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $140,935.85, a 3.30 percent increase from the 2022 year-to-date total of $136,429.82.

Ransom Canyon, and Post saw increases while Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw a decrease.
