Slaton sees refund, but a decrease, in April rebates
The City of Slaton received a sales tax refund for April after having to give a refund to a business in March.
It still saw a decrease over last year’s sales tax rebates. for the month of April.
Slaton received $52,193.30 in April, a 2.32 percent decrease from April 2022’s $53,433.63.
Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $193,129.15 a 19.72 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $240,598.18.
Ransom Canyon, Post and Buffalo Springs saw an increase.
Wilson saw a decrease over last year.
