4 Schools to celebrate graduation ceremonies

Slaton, Roosevelt, Wilson and Southland High Schools have announced their Valedictorians and Salutatorians before commencements this week.

Slaton’s 2023 Valedictorian is Brayden Brown while the Salutatorian is Sloane Meier.

Graduation will be at 7  p.m. tonight (Thursday, May 25) in the Slaton High School gymnasium. Doors open at 6.

Britnee Cloud is the 2023 Roosevelt High School Valedictorian while Lesette Hernandez was named the Salutatorian.

RISD’s graduation will be at 7 p.m. Friday (May 26) at the Arena.

For Wilson High School, Abigail Isham was named the Valedictorian for 2023 while Alex Sandoval was named the Salutatorian.

The Mustangs will graduate Saturday (May 27) at 10 a.m. at the school.

Southland High School’s Valedictorian is Isiah Gonzales and its Salutatorian is Madison Garcia.

The 2023 Eagles seniors will graduate Friday (May 26) at 7 p.m. in the Southland High School gymnasium.
