Slaton sees decrease in May sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton again saw a decrease in sales tax revenues for the month of May.

Slaton received $76,064.41 in May, a 13.73 percent decrease from May 2022’s $88,172.87.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $269,193.56, an 18.12 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $328,771.05.

Ransom Canyon and Post saw increases over the same time last year.

Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw decreases.
