Slaton sees increase in June sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of June.

Slaton received $58,545.50 in June, a 12.64 percent increase from June 2022’s $51,973.85.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $327,739.06, an 13.92 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $380,744.90.

Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs, Post and Wilson all saw increases over the same time last year.
