SEDCO discusses budget, mural

The Slaton Economic Development Corporation approved an amendment to the 2022-23 budget and proposed 2023-24 budget Thursday afternoon (Aug. 17) during its monthly meeting.

The board went into executive session at the beginning of the meeting, and when they reconvened, they approved the proposed 2023-24 budget with pay raises for the SEDCO staff.

They also approved an amendment to the May 18 meeting minutes to amend the 2022-23 budget.

An update on the mural was also given.
