Slaton Bakery to host Banana Pudding Festival Sept. 2

The Slaton Bakery will host its first ever Banana Pudding Festival Sept. 2 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in Slaton.

There will be four puddings for people to try, as well as artisans, cooks, crafters and musicians.

Guests can sample the four puddings with a “pudding pass,” which will include Church Lady, Texas Whisky, 5 Star Puddings and Texas Delight.

Each serving will be approximately 5 ounces.

Pudding passes are $20 each and can be shared. A portion of the monies raised will be donated to local charities.
