Slaton sees increase in August sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of August.

Slaton received $88,019.72 in August, a 7.36 percent increase from August 2022’s $87,978.01.

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $477,824.67, a 7.26 percent decrease from the 2022 year-to-date total of $515,282.57.

Buffalo Springs and Post saw decreases over the same time last year.

Ransom Canyon and Wilson saw increases.
