Texas Air Museum to host Fly-in Lunch, Sale April 13

The Texas Air Museum will have its annual Fly-in Lunch and Hangar Sale April 13 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Slaton Municipal Airport, 2 miles north of Slaton on FM 400.

Lunch includes hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage warps and fixings. A donation is requested for the meal.

There will be various items at the hangar sale such as miscellaneous aircraft and engine parts, military antiques and uniforms and other items. 

There will also be a flour bombing contest and airplane spot contest. Cost to enter the flour bombing contest is $10 per one pound flour bag. 

The event is open to everyone and no airplane required.

Proceeds will go toward funding the Caprock Chapter of the Texas Air Museum.
