Slaton sees rise in January sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an increase in sales tax revenues for the month of January. 

Slaton received $61,917.30 in January, a 0.59 percent increase from January 2023’s $61,551. 

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $61,917.30 in January, a 0.59 percent increase from January 2024’s $61,551. .

Post, Ransom Canyon Buffalo Springs and Post saw an increase over the same time last year.

Wilson saw a decrease.
