Several Slaton ag students won awards at the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show this past week.

Slaton winners were:

• Grant Schilling – Yorkshire Breed Champion Market Barrow.

Also, eighth place Hereford market steer.

• Randon Cook – 11th place dark OPB Market Barrow.

• Kenon Diaz – third place Dark OPB Market Barrow.

• Cody Franklin – sixth place Crossbred Market Barrow

• Casen Jones, 11th place Dark OPB Market Barrow.

• Ella Newton – 14th place, Hereford Market Steer.

• Koleson Schilling, 15th place Hereford Market Steer.
