Local groups to host Easter Egg Hunts

The Area will host some Easter Egg Hunts this year around for youth to enjoy.

There will be an Easter Egg Hunt from 2-3 p.m. April 19 at Elgie Allen Park, 1000 S. 3rd St. in Slaton. 

This will be the first ever event, and the public is invited to attend.

St. John Lutheran Church in Wilson will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt and Hot Dog Cookout April 19 at noon at the Wilson City Park.

The Egg Hunt is for children walking through age 12.

The hot dog cookout is for all ages.

Lunch will be served after the hunt and participants are asked to bring their lawn chairs.
