Slaton sees drop in April sales tax rebates

The City of Slaton saw an decrease in sales tax revenues for the month of April. 

Slaton received $47,762.41 in April, an 25.75 percent decrease from April 2024’s $64,329.20. 

Year-to-date, Slaton has received rebates totaling $257,994.06 in April, a 10.44 percent decrease from April 2024’s $288,069.21.

Buffalo Springs and Wilson saw an increase over the same time last year.

Ransom Canyon and Post saw a decrease.
